Creekside Athletics is pleased to announce that Coach Mandy Yates has been hired as the Head Girls Cross Country Coach!
Coach Yates started running as a middle school athlete in Ohio. She was an NCAA collegiate athlete at Ohio Northern University where she earned multiple NCAA All-American awards of distance running. She grew tired of the cold winters in 2011 and moved to the Sunshine State. Coach Yates qualified and ran in the US Olympic Marathon Trials in 2012. She continues to share her love of running with her current training partners, her husband and kids.

Congratulations to Coach Rick Marabell, the 2014-15 Creekside Coach of the Year. Coach Marabell was nominated because of his strong convictions and dedication to our student athletes. He strives to exemplify and demonstrate the 6 Pillars of Character and serves as a role model and leader to our students as well as our staff. Thank you Coach Marabell!
Prior to participation or to tryout for any Creekside High School team, all required FHSAA forms must be turned in to the head coach or the Athletics Department:
FHSAA EL2 (Physical), FHSAA EL3 (Consent), EL3CH (Concussion/Heat/Sudden Cardiac Arrest), Student/Parent Code of Conduct, and new for 2015-16 –
Photography, Filming and Videotaping
Per FHSAA Policy 34: 34.1.1 Representatives of a school’s athletic interest of a visiting school may not photograph, film or videotape their team’s or contestants’ performance without first obtaining permission from the host school prinicpal or his/her designee. Photographers, videographers and their equipment must be positioned so that they do not block the view of any spectator. 34.1.2 No representative of a school’s athletic interest that is not participating in a contest may photograph, film or videotape all or part of the contest unless permission to do so is granted by the Principal or his/her designee of each school that is participating in that contest. No photographers will be allowed on sidelines without permission from the Principal or Athletic Director. All broadcasts of athletic competitions must be pre-approved by the Principal or Athletic Director. Download broadcast application here.
