Try-out information packets for the 2013-14 CHS Cheer Teams will be available at Creekside and Fruit Cove Middle School during the last week of April.
If your student is interested in trying out, please plan to attend the parent meeting on Thursday, May 9th at 6:00 pm in the CHS Media Center.
Try-out dates:
Clinics Wednesday and Thursday, June 5th and 6th (times to be announced)*
Try-outs Friday, June 7th at 4:30 pm in the CHS Gym (3:45 warm up)
*Attendance of both clinics is mandatory to try out
Creekside High School is proud to announce that Coach Denise Grubbs has been selected to serve as Head Coach of the Varsity Cheerleading squad for the 2013-14 season. Coach Grubbs brings with her over 11 years of coaching experience, including both Pop Warner, and All-Stars competitive cheerleading. She has had many great accomplishments in cheerleading, including a nationally ranked team, and numerous 1st place wins. “It’s not all about winning, but about being part of a team and supporting one another.” Coach Grubbs emphasizes this philosophy to not only her student athletes, but her own children as well. She is the proud mother of three children, and has been married to her husband Mike for 30 years. She is thrilled to be a part of Creekside athletics, and is looking forward to a successful year.
