Coach Alicia Gladden (1985-2013) Coach Gladden was more than a coach to us. She was like a big sister. Whenever we needed help, she would pull us aside and show us what we could do to be better. Her smile could brighten anyone’s day and it certainly brightened our gym daily! She not only taught us how to be great players, she also taught us how to be great people. Coach Gladden was always encouraging, positive, and ready to help when we needed it. She had a way of making all of us feel good about ourselves. Whether it was on or off the basketball court, she was a good person making good decisions. Although we only knew her for a year, she made a TREMENDOUS impact in our lives and we are forever grateful!! Now it will be our turn to take what she invested in us and share it.
We LOVE you Coach Gladden and could not thank you enough for ALL you poured into us as you constantly pushed us to be our BEST!!!

5A FHSAA Girls Basketball Academic All State Award goes to JEANIE VERDERESE!!! Congratulations to our SR point guard for not only excelling on the basketball court as she helped the Knights WIN their FIRST ever District Championship but also for being recognized as a TRUE STUDENT ATHLETE as she excels in the classroom as well.
