Program Philosophy

We expect that each Creekside wrestler strives to be the best that they can be with the tools that they have at hand. While the individual component of wrestling is one of the great and unique aspects of the sport, the Team must and will always come first. Each wrestler must be willing to sacrifice and do what is in the best interest of the Team. They must conduct themselves as gentlemen, in the classroom, on the mat, and in all other aspects of your life. Represent their family, Creekside High School, and your teammates in a positive manner.

Requirements

Must have a current School Physical and signed Parent Consent completed to participate.
Grades

(Need a 2.0 GPA to participate and maintained) Grades will be monitored weekly and a wrestler that is carrying a grade below a 60% for more than one class will be placed on academic probation and removed from participation until grades are rectified. (Wrestlers are student-athletes. Meaning they’re students first and wrestlers second.)

Practice attendance is mandatory and critical.  Injured team members will be expected to be at practice to take mental reps
Exceptions to be excused from practice (Excused absence from school, family emergency & after school for “extra help” or tutoring.)
